What does Alpha mean?
We are currently in Alpha
mode, which means we are constantly releasing new features and enhancements to
our site. You may experience some bugs and errors while using our services,

Is Mapofi a free service?
Yes. Mapofi is 100% free
for buyers of property. We require no payment to view information or to use the
service.

Where do your listings come from?
The listings on Mapofi come from our partners – property
owners, builders, brokers and agents - across the country to provide our
customers with the best source of information on any property.
Can I list my property on Mapofi?
In order to list your property on Mapofi, please contact us
or email to
support@mapofi.com.
Who do I contact to get more information about a property?
If you want to know more about a property or to schedule a
showing, contact the broker or agent directly. via the email address or phone
number provided in the property details. If you find the particular details
missing, please email us at
property@mapofi.com indicating the
details of the property information required.
Why can't I find a listing when I do a search?
Probably there are no properties currently available that
match your search criteria. We are starting our operations with Goa and Pune and
Mumbai. We are growing rapidly and will soon add your city to Mapofi. Try
contacting us for any specific queries.
Do I need to be a member to search your site?
Search is FREE. Anyone can search for property listings on
our site, but only registered members can add their property listings for
everyone to see.
How do I upload photos?
While you are submitting
your property details there is a provision for you to upload your property
photos. Browse through your system and select the property photos you want to
add and click the upload button.
Alternatively, you can e-mail your property photographs or
send your property photographs by post. We will upload them for you.
Why Can’t I upload videos to my listed property?
We accept only .swf format to be uploaded from the
registered user account. If you have a video in any other format, you can email
that video file to
support@mapofi.com stating the title
of your property and the email address associated with it.
How do I know the properties are genuine?
We have a system of verifying the client contact details.
You can be assured that we have contacted the person and confirmed his/her
details.
I have just posted my property, why does it not appear in
the search results?
When you post your
property the first time it will not appear immediately in the search results.
Properties posted by every member will undergo validation and screened for junk
text, inappropriate photos and other discrepancies before it is put up for
everyone to see. Validation is usually completed within 24 hours after which it
will appear in the search results.
Can I post one property for both rent and sale at the same
time?
No, the same property
cannot be listed both for rent and sale. It is important for you to define
whether your property is open for sale or rent so that the prospective property
buyers are clear about your offering.
I found an error in a listing. What can I do?
If you believe there is an error in one of Mapofi's
listings, please let us know by sending us an email at
feedback@mapofi.com or fill the feedback form.
